 I'm Barbara E. Herrera, Licensed and Certified Professional Midwife and I own Ama Mama Holistic Healthcare in San Diego, California. I've got 25 years of experience in the birth world and would love to answer some of your questions about pregnancy, labor and birth.

CHILDBIRTH - THE AFTERMATH

Talking about childbirth. This is my point of view and that of a lot of women who have a traumatic experience and are not afraid to talk about it. It doesn't make me any less of a person to admit to the pain. By the way, if you're wondering about my accent: I've lived in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.I've studied English since I was 6 years old and by the time I attended High School in the US, I was already fluent.
